Ko Samui is an island in southern Thailand near Phuket. We hired a car and toured part of the island. First stop was a garden near a mountain top.
Followed by a temple housing a mummified monk.
We were able to get close to some elephants…
…and swam in a nearby waterfall.
Lunch was at a beachfront restaurant.
Above, the coconut ice cream was delicious. The island is known for its beaches, but on this day, the wave was too strong for a good swim.
